You MIGHT be lucky and just need to adjust the three point control valve/linkage but I would bet that the hydraulic pump is going bad. The hydraulics on a JD 2010 where not very good when they where new.
The hydraulic pump CAN be serviced up through the bottom cover but it is usually just about as fast to split the tractor there to get to it. The steel lines are a real bear to get to up inside the housing.
Get yourself a factory service manual and adjust the three point control valve/linkage before you do anything else. If you have a good JD dealer they can just make you a copy of the few pages needed for the adjustment.
IF you are planning on keeping the tractor I would buy a factory service manual. There are several good companies selling a copy of the factory manual. This site has one for sale for $99.99. This would be good money spent if it saves you buying parts you may not need.
The JD 2010 is an odd ball that is serviced and adjusted different than just about any other JD tractor. I find myself having to use the manual a lot when working on one.
Good luck!! I hope the problem is simple one but on the JD 2010 it usually is not simple.
