A couple of months ago, my brother went in to have what turns out to be a double hernia checked out, but the doctor told him that other recent pains he was having shouldn't be related. A test here, a test there, a biopsy here, and he has stage four colorectal cancer. He's blind too, so if he had been passing blood which as I understand it, is common, he never saw it. Tuesday is round four of an every other week episode of chemo that is scheduled to go through about Chirstmas Eve, his 56th birthday.
To you and Trudi, best of wishes and luck, and prayers. My sister's mother-in-law was given five years to live tops after being diagnosed with cancers in a few spots in her upper and mid torso. Its been ten years cancer free for her, now in her upper 70's, and she is very healthy and active.
They say one of the most important things in battling cancer and winning, is positive, upbeat attitude. Having the faith...always. Plays a very big part, I hear. Stay away from negative nay-sayers.
