I still like the look of a fresh plowed field. I know all the wizards of smart tell us it is the wrong thing to do but there is something that feels good about plowing the fresh earth over. I guess it is the fact you are closing the book on the last crop and starting new with a fresh page so to speak.
I love the smell of the fresh worked ground.
Asked your friend what model his White/Oliver plow is. I am looking to replace one I sold years ago. The fellows down on the Oliver board are pretty sure the one I had was a 565 plow. It looked just like your friends.
