Been working on this thing evenings and weekends for over a month now. Finally finished the paneling and window trim inside of it yesterday. I have about $200 in it. Almost everything - framing materials, sheathing, roofing, insulation, Door (with key to the lock), paneling, trim, siding etc all came from the free section on Craigslist. I did donate some stuff that I had - some 2 bys, electrical stuff and the aluminum wrap for around the windows. Bought the 4 thermopane windows for $60 and the tin to line the underside to keep the critters out. It's insulated R13 in the walls and R19 in the floor and ceiling. I still need to put some kind of screens or see through curtains on the inside so they don't see in and carpet on the floor for sound proofing. I built it in the driveway and then winched it onto the trailer. Will probably bring it up to my land in the next couple of weeks. Just going to set it on blocks on a promontory overlooking the extinct gravel pit where I hunt. About 16' above the pit floor. Made it juuust narrow enough to fit on the trailer. It's about 6'6"X8'. Even if I don't heat it it will still be better than freezing my rear end off sitting in an open stand like I've done for so many years.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
