I have only been around the Donahue's just a bit. Don't remember what the literature was for but it was for some sort of folding planter or conversion like Keldermen. Big problem with Donahues aside from the obvious is if you have many completely bare fields. IE you pull in drop the trailer then unhitch pull the planter off, then start planting, at some point you will have to move the trailer just to plant where it is sitting.
Someone else mentioned that Kinze makes a 6 row pivot fold. I didn't know they did but a look at their site gave me a quick education. Not sure where you are located but finding a used Kinze 6 row pivot I have to think would be difficult at best. If you have enough tractor think about a 12 row pivot fold. I have a 12/23 split row and pull it with a 2294 Case (130 horse). Saying that I wouldn't want much less of a tractor for that planter.
Another option would be picking up a end transport kit and putting it on a 6 row. There were companies like Wetherell and Kelderman that made end transport kits for 8 and 12 rows. and I think they could be adapted with a bit of work.

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
