I do try to cull out some of the stuff I don't use often, but it's tough - always have that feeling of "but... what if..."
Most USEFUL addition to my toolbox - aside from the obvious sockets and wrenches... An old feed bag, cut open so I can use it like a little drop cloth.
Keeps me dry if I have to kneel or lie on wet ground to work on something.
More importantly I lay it below anything I work on in the field. It catches small parts that get dropped so I don't lose them. Dropping a small part into long grass can be a nightmare.
