You will not find splines under those dust caps. There will also need to be the internal cylinder, linkage and valving. It will be fairly pricey to get the external components for the 3-pt hitch. Your best bet will be to find a salvage rear end. You should post on the IH/Farmall forum for help with this one. It may be best to enjoy this one for what it is or see if there is an add on 3-pt using an external cylinder like are mounted on Hs and Ms.
