In spring 2012 I went to a consignment auction and when I went to leave they had not charged me for the $150 or so I had bid on a pile of metal roof panels. I asked about it and after abouut ten minutes of head scratching figured out that my number was 262 and the writer-downer had written 252 instead. That person had not bought anything so they had not checked out. One of our fairly local auctioneers videotapes the whole auction so that it can be determined who bid on what. Zach
