Our pond has a lot of bluegills and sunfish in it. Years ago all the sunfish took over the pond ,I did some reading and research and found out that sunfish must be harvested every so often or they will take over,We fished out two five gallon pails of them, then in the next two years the bluegills and sunfish grew bigger in size, and more bass were in the pond.I was talking to my friend at work about it,telling him it was time to take out some sunfish and bluegills again. He said he likes to eat them.He went fishing in our pond last week.He threw back all the bass, each picture is a different bass he caught, and he kept 60 sunfish bluegills, and the sunfish bluegills were still biting hard when he stopped fishing. It was a day after anight of heavy rain the pond was murky but the moss was washed off the top of the pond.He sent me these pictures because him and another one of my best friends are always talking about who is a better fisherman,I think my other friend may have to shake his hand when he sees this! The first bass was caught at the neighbors pond ,the rest were at our pond.I never fished the pond too much over the years, never had time ,but this guy really knows how to fish!!
