Hi All, I am seriously in need of something with tracks to satisfy a hunger. In the paper today was a Ransomes Crawler of approximately 40's vintage. I rang and the nice chap told me it is single cylinder and has had live hydraulics fitted. He said it is 90% restored. (I won't bore everyone with the asking price.) Anyway, I don't know one end of a Ransomes from the other. Any comments on what I should be looking for or what I should ask. Single cylinder must be a small tractor, with a humungous pot. Apparently crank handle start from the side as the hydraulic pump is on the front. Sadly, the current owner goes in for a rebore himself this Friday (Quadruple I think he said). I am sure we all join in wishing him the best for his op. Look forward to your responses. Glenn
