We have used both (technology lab) the miller is more stable and less prone to cable chaffing and has great electronic controls. The model (link) is pricy, but the welder is pro quality. We went through several "home shop" level welders with poor feed performance, and short life. Get a reasonable unit that will handle 1/4" or more or it will not be used much. Jim
