I'm not sure if this will help but my iphone's battery was only getting me about a day's worth of charge. One of the young-uns here at work grabbed it and showed me something on it that might help.
Get your phone and push the main button twice. A row of apps will show up in a single line 4 across at the bottom of the screen. Hold your finger on the apps and delete them. (your not deleting the app in this mode, just closing the app and keeping it from running in the background).
I had every app I own running. I hope this helps and gives me some extra battery life between charges.
