Lou, I lost one of the best bud's I ever had about two years ago. He was about 15 or so, and just got old. I had to put him down, and choked up for days afterward. I still talk to him out in the pasture. The same day, I was asked to adopt Willie. A lot of the same bad habits, and he'll probably outlast me. He'll never be a Wizard, but then again, I thought Wiz would never equal Ding-Dong. I've been blessed to have two great dogs, and Willie and Jake are trying hard to be the same. Besides, they never nag at me, always are happy to see me come home, and don't complain when I want to sleep. And they help me remember Ding and Wizzy more fondly......

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
