My late FIL and myself installed that on his home near the river in 1963. It had been a school house at one time and had a lot of shingle roofs installed over the years. The roof was very steep and I worked off the ladder and my FIL was on the high part with a rope connected to keep from falling. It probably still has that metal roof. It fixed the leaking too. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
