Great post! I suspect a lot of us are in a similar situation. Even though we slow down a little it sure seems like the clock moves even faster. I have been in the background of this site for years, but I have really grown to admire all of you for your great knowledge and willingness to help others out. My dad started farming with horses and mules and I can not believe I started driving tractors more than 50 years ago. I'm still working, but trying like heck to get all the "big" projects out of the way while I'm still able. I'm not sure if I'm in winter yet, but that's the rub.....we never know for sure.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
