This is a very subjective question, the correct answere is that it's worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay and you are willing to accept. Realizing that's not the answere you want though, I will take a shot at it from my observations. I recommend you ID the tractor by model and serial number, and know it's condition. Problem signs looked for include; knocks from motor, cracks/welds anywhere, worn out tires, rusted/dented sheet metal, hacked wiring jobs, etc. Location is a big impact too, a farmer and a collector may inspect the tractor from very different points of view. Again, just my observations from living on the East Coast, "Your Mileage May Vary." Straight A's average around $1000, extremes in condition (good or bad) can vary $500 up or down from there. Have seen people ask $2000-$3000 for restored ones (rebuilt engine, new paint, new tires ...), but don't know if many sell in that range. Super A's average around $2000, extremes in condition can vary $1000 up or down from there. Have seen people asking $3000-$4000 for restored ones, again, don't know how many actually sell. You didn't say what implements, but guessing at least plow, disc, mower, cultivators; might add $250-$500 as a package, but depending on condition might get more if you are willing to sell seperately. FWIW, Stan(VA). and my condolences to your family. : My grandfather recently died, leaving to my grandmother his Farmall A and all its implements that he's used to work his farm for the last sixty years or so. She asked me to get a general idea of what the tractor is worth. I hope some of you good people and experts out there will be able to help me out. The tractor still runs well, and was used 2 weeks ago to plow and plant her fields, so it's obviously still a workhorse. Any idea what a tractor like this would go for?
