Around here I see quite a few bean fields that look like they've been painted brown from herbicide burn. In a week the brown is gone but they obviously weren't sprayed with Roundup and the weeds were smoked. I put Treflan down for the beans and Tripleflex preplant for corn. If I didn't use the yellow I have a feeling I'd have more weeds in the beans than I do now. The Tripleflex works very well and I mostly don't need a post spray of any kind. Next year I might not use Roundup in the beans. I'll probably still plant RR beans because that's where the good genetics are. Every year is different and every year creates a different challenge.
