Saw a bunch of badgers out Saturday morning. I shot one a couple winters ago, stood by the open truck door, about 20 yards, 12 gauge 3 inch magnum buckshot. The thing looked at me like he was cussing me out about how that stung, then ran down his hole. A friend tells a story about someone he knows got chased into the back of his truck one night, blew half its head off with the 20 gauge, then ended up crawling through the back window, driving away on the flat tire that the badger was still chewing on.
