If they would steal 2400 gallons of diesel fuel from a school nothing would surprise me what people will steal even at a tractor show. Three electricians and a boat operator were caught stealing copper wire and any other metal they could sell from the military base where I retired from. They even ordered an expensive wire stripper to strip the wire as its worth more clean and charged it to the government. They were probably fired, I haven't heard much in news since it happened.
