I have a TO30 I love. It's true that live hydraulics and PTO would make them even better, but for what I do I can get along without either.
They are easy to work on, and parts are readily available.
I use mine with a 5' mower, a blade for dirt or snow, a plow, a harrow, pulling a trailer, and I use a carry-all to move whatever else needs hauled around the place.
The lack of factory position control for the three-point can be an issue. But there are instructions out there for a really simple adaption for excellent position control.
It all depends on what you want, what you need, what the price is, how much you have to spend, and what happens to be available when you are in the market.
