Just no dew on this morning, rained that night! And yes those are dump wagons, all haylage and corn silage goes into a pit. And these are true pit silos, I just dug a trench 70 feet long into a hill behind the barn. One for hay, one for corn. They go from zero to 14 feet deep and are 40 feet wide, with earth sides and a cement floor. I built these when I bought this farm in 2004, and will be filling them for the tenth time, this year. Works very well, and cheap. My total cost for both pits was $8500.00 , including cement and excavtion. Bruce
