I have had what I thought was knotter troubles, then I discovered grooves in the ceramic guides, donuts that guide the twine, the grooves were so deep they were abrading the twine, but not cutting it in two, I just rotated the two culprits 180 degrees until I got a chance to replace them. JB

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
