Same story here. We get one local [so called] news station. Channel 7 in Watertown, and it has just nothing. If someone gets arrested for DWI the might report that as major news or some minor traffic accident but no real news and never any follow-up. Their usual stories are about some fund raiser for some charity or a school play.
They have an evenning news broadcast and then the same news the next morning. Of course we get to hear all about the local school sports and the weather over and over. We use the internet to find out what is going on and watch FOX or CNN. to get their slanted views.
Not to mention the fact that most of their half hour is taken up with stupid adds.
I have reached the point in my life when I like TV better when it is off.
