A palm nailer lets you use your normal punches, so you don't have to spend time grinding down your air hammer chisels.
It was a real life saver replacing the drive sprocket on the corn head gathering belt last fall. Used it to drive the stubborn roll pin out. Used it to drive the shaft out of the sprocket. Normally the sprocket needs to be cut off. We couldn't move it with a pin and a 12lb sledge. The palm nailer zipped it right out.
