I need helllllp!!!!!!!!! From experience I'd bet your head gasket is leaking. You can be sure, by removing the pan and putting a pressure tester on the coolant system, at the radiator cap area. A bad leak will show up quickly. Some leaks will quit with pressure to a system, so check both ways. On old engines, use CopperCoat (sp?) from a spray can to give your head gasket extra ability to seal. Blocks get warped near bolt holes, etc, but many engines shouldn't be resurfaced (mainly diesels), and the copper colored sealant is made for head gaskets, etc.
The copper sealer handles head and after spraying on the gasket it looks like it is factory made. On an engine which has recently been rebuilt with a leaking problem you can use the copper sealler on the head gasket, and not need to buy another one.
This copper sealer can be used to repair cracks in the sleeve area of the block, before new sleeves (dry sleeve style) are installed. Put a coating inside the dry, oil free, block and a coating around the sleeve. It'll take a quick installation to make the sleeve go in easy. The sealant sets up a bit, but I've used it a number of times to cure both top and bottom coolant leaks. Milan
