Wichita Ks. area...People are second cutting hay fields...fields that have never been hayed before..mostly wild cedar and brush...with windrows going in and out between. Brand new Massey Harris doing that one. Little 2 - 3 acre residential yards being cut. Haven't noticed any semis loaded with big square bales heading south on I35 like the last few years.
Round bales cut back in June..black looking, sitting out in fields. Got mine cut..guy hasn't got a buyer yet (1st cut). Said the one that bought it last year quite raising cows..Hardly any herds that I've been able to see..maybe a couple dozen here and there..
