We do have a lot of farmers markets here but I really don't have the time to go and sit for several hours unless things are moving by the truckload.
I do notice that here, there is a LOT of farming and a lot of this and thats but most farmers are not very professional and I was born that way (engineer). I have no problem building processing machines for washing, packaging, sealing, labeling, etc. I just hate to go through the trouble only to find that a retailer wants 500% just to buy my product.
I guess I am looking for something in the middle. Maybe restaurants? I don't mind taking a little hit to move more product so I don;t have all the spoilage.
