I applied to TSC a couple years back. I figured a former US Marine who worked in Aviation Supply, was forklift certified, had worked in retail lumber yards, construction, home repair, had a small engine side line, was a former Husqvarna/Jonsereds dealer, retired State employee, farmer with experience in welding and all sorts of farm repair plus livestock PLUS pets, paint, tire repair, fencing, etc. would be a shoe in. Never got so much as a nibble. But by golly there are 7 or 8 real nice looking young girls working there and one or 2 older real nice looking ones and one not so great looking one that can run the forklift and lift heavy stuff. There's also a couple nice young men running themselves ragged doing all the lifting and carrying the not so hot looking girl can't do.
My wife tried to ease the blow by telling me I was over qualified. I figured I was just lacking the necessary mammary equipment to get considered.
