It could be a sensor not working sometimes. It could be the PCU computer not always working. It could be a bad wire in the harness. Even with a computer to diagnose the problems, until it fails all of the time, or at least more often it will be hard to find the trouble.
That is why there are not any tractors on this farm with a computer control. I have seen too many horror stories when they start to act up.
