Does this happen more when the tractor/transmission oil is cold? The system is built to not let the transmission opeerate above 13 until oil is warm. If this is happening and oil is warm it may be related to a temp sender. Does the trans. light flash when this happens? If it does it will set a code.I will try to walk you through accessing the code: 1. engine off, key off. 2. remove cover for fuses on the RH console, insert a 10A in the port marked "DIAG ONLY". 3.Turn key on cornerpost should read DIA.4.operate turn signal like you were to be tuning right (just bump it if you like) display will change to display different controllers.5.continue until display reads PCU.6.pull turn signal back towards you and release.7.bump turn signal once, display will read PCU 001. 8. Pull back turn signal once and release.Codes will now display in sequence, Example; PCU 017 etc. 9. Write these down (they will keep scrolling until you clear them or the key is shut off).10. Once you have written the codes down shut the key off, remove the fuse from DIA port. Your operators book may have a list of the codes. If not tell us what you have, may be able to find out. There might be a lot of codes in there that will not affect the tractor operation. The example I used, PCU 017 indicates that the operator was off the seat with trans in gear. It will set when you bounce over a big bump, really not an issue. Go through this procedure if you like, let us know what you find.
