The people in my area? The ones who know me won't bring the subject up. A black cloud forms over my head when I think about the money and lives that have been wasted in these wars we have going on right now. How do we pay for this? Borrow the money? Again? The spending on these wars is what's got us in the mess we're in now. If they want to get involved they need to institute a special tax to pay for it. That will stop the foolishness. I can't help but wonder if these pols who are so eager to stick their noses in other people's business are set up to profit from it somehow. If any of these scoundrels are lying, or profiting, they need to go before a firing squad. And Goose is right. How much warning should you give? We gave Bin Ladin (SP) a months notice before we went after him. I don't think they wanted to catch him - that would have been like killing the goose who lays the golden eggs. It gives me a headache to think that they have learned zilch after mucking around over there for ten plus years.
