Arrived a couple of days ago, had some delays due to bad hire car but after making up some lost time we are now doing fine. Drove from Fresno to Reno yesterday, took the 49 over the pass last night anout 11.30, not many cars around at that time it was some drive over 9000 feet and all in darkness but exciting none the less. Went to the Bill Harrah auto musium today, some real nice cars there. Did the Texas Roadhouse tonight, very good. Hope to move on early tomorrow and catch Virgina City before taking off for the Salt Lake Flats, thats going to be long trip. Some smoke in the air from the forrest fire on our trip yesterday. Bill

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
