Still here ! Not flooded or drowned by any means,,we need rain for that ,lol . Been way busy at work and home. Got walls all done, house down on block . Half floor poured, rock in yesterday for other half. Hope to have floor poured next week or two . Been a long hard project . Had couple great buddies to help me and lots of good advice from guys on here . Roughly three years working on it . Mostly weekends and night or to during the week . Building inspector was kinda riding me on it. I asked him if anyone had ever undertaken a project like this around here. He replied,,"no,,,well there was a guy out in the country ,took him ten years ,then he died " lol He has been really helpful too,and I know he has people to answer to . Trying to put together an album of the project ,start to finish. . Furnace guy and plumber get their stuff laid out next week ,then framing starts . wife wants bedrooms down there by christmas. Guess I need to show her how to run an air nailer? lol

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
