Gary that may be so but the extra cost in feed hasn't equalized yet. Cattle prices have come up some but not enough to offset the increase in feed and fertilizer prices and I doubt that they ever will. High corn prices put more than a few feeders and poultry companies out of business in the last few years and it took some growers down with them. I don't mind row crop guys making a little money but the livestock man don't have the same safety net. We need to get the government out of agriculture and let the markets take care of themselves.
