With a wiring diagram you can find the power wire at the pump (probably in the tank) with the connector off put a test light from ground to the wire terminal. (Color code for sure!) If it lights when turned on, it is the pump being intermittent. Plug it in and try it if no pump, it is the pump. You can use the test light and the pump at the same time if you poke the wire with the point. (a sure way to tell). Then put a little #2 Permatex on the hole in the wire to assure it does not corrode. Jim
