We always plant turnips, and one evening my friend, who loves cooked turnips, was here and asked if he could have some. Sure - he stopped by the patch on the way home and pulled a sackfull. It was dark, but what could go wrong in a turnip patch? Turns out, he got into my patch of big white winter radishes. He cooked them every way he could think of, and they weren't fit to eat.
