A few days ago I asked about colors of tin roofing for a farm house. Thanks for all of the replies. I am going to go with a medium to dark gray. I have decided that white houses need some color on the roof that contrasts with the siding. I have seen this dark gray on several houses and I like it. My question is about the cost of the labor, trim, and firing involved in roofing just to make sure the bids I have received are good enough. I know what barn tin costs, but what is the typical labor cost to install a square of regular barn tin? Also, is there a magic formula to calculate what the trim and firing might cost? This main house roof has 18 square with two valleys, steep, steep pitch, two story house. Attached garage and a porch is 8 square. Porch and garage are not steep or high off the ground. Any ideas on labor, trim and lumber costs are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
