I had a Massey 304 years back and it was from the left, swing, then boom, then crowd, and then bucket. You ran the crowd and bucket with your right hand, you could hold the crowd back full all the time and work the bucket with the palm of your hand and the only time the crowd would pull is when you let off the bucket some, in other words you would crowd and curl the bucket with one hand in a nice smooth arc to fill the bucket. Then you could lift the boom and swing at the same time to dump. That one would not operate correctly if the levers were hooked up different. I have an International now and its totlly different and is terrible to operate, never thought of it before but maybe someone changes the hoses around on it??
