I've not heard any coyotes all summer, something is up, lots of fawns this year too. One thing I have seen signs of are racoons, they have been in every one of my stands and crapped all over each one, some real fresh, flies all over, could not even sit in my best one, made of scaffold, nice platform, can't imagine what else they carry besides rabies. I saw one in another old platform stand way up in a black cherry tree, I was armed with a .22 sidearm, just could not get a sight line to him just right, power lines too, no houses beyond, but I have to make sure 100% its a hit if shooting that way regardless, I'm sure he's the one using my favorite places as an outhouse, they're supposed to be clean wash their food, well they sure sh$t where they eat.
