No experience, but I'll share my opinion.
Turbo is Italian for "expensive to fix". I had the opportunity to get a turbo on a car and I passed. They provide extra HP, but I can live without it.
I don't know that I buy the MPG claims.
In my opinion again, a smaller engine working closer to its max is bound to fail before a larger engine working at half capacity.
In general, I just don't buy the claim that it is "just as good or better" and "can do everything a V8 can do" when the comparison is made. Time could very well prove me wrong, but I won't be the guy buying one to find out. My brother just bought one. I'll let him spend his money figuring it out. It won't cost me anything but bragging rights for him to tell me I was wrong!
