At a pull Saturday, a large diesel tractor that had not been out in a few years, but was always formidable competition, came to compete. When he hooked, a very impressive cloud of smoke was sent up, but instead of the usual black, it was mainly white. I recall that last time I saw this tractor pull, it was the same situation. Why is the smoke white? Mine puts up white smoke on start-up but then it turns black when warmed up a little.
