WAAAY before the Do-Not-Call law was passed, I worked the night shift and usually woke up at about 4:00 PM. I had just woke up and got a call from a telemarketer at about that time. I decided to waste their time just like they were wasting my time. This lady started off very friendly and we talked about muscle tone. She was asking me if I took vitamins and I told her that I did not. She then asked if I regularly worked out and I told her that I did. She then became an expert on muscle tone and said that working out actually destroys muscle and the body rebuilds it again. (That is actually the truth. That's how muscle-builders get so ripped) I continued to talk with her and was courteous the whole time, fully agreeing with everything she said. After about 15 minutes of this, she then told me about these vitamins that she was going to sell me. They were wonderful vitamins and were ONLY about $250 for a one-month supply. I told her that that was nice and I'm sure they were good vitamins. She then said that she was going to transfer me to the guy who would take my credit card number to complete the sale. I ask her why she wanted to do that, because I had no intention of buying these vitamins. There was a long pause and she then asked me where she went wrong as I had been polite and agreed with her at all times. I told her that since she intentionally called to waste my time, I was just playing with her the whole time to intentionally waste her time and that I never had any intention of buying her vitamins. I have never heard so many four-letter words come out of a woman's mouth before or since. After her tirade, she actually hung up on me.
