We had our first frost here last night also. Not a hard one, but a few plants showed signs in the garden about noon. We had a perfect fall day here, in central NY. Temp. about 63F with blue skies. I went up in the upper 40 to cut firewood, about 9:00 am and the uncle was on my tail with the MX110 and disc mower to mow the 3rd cut alfalfa in 22A field between the woods. I had a great day in the woods. Blocked and split firewood all day. I got a load of wood on the old Cheby woodgetter today, another one split up to load out tomarrow. The 3rd cut wasn't heavy, but it was better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. LOL. As you can see, this whole field is pretty close to bedrock. The bottom of a plow furrow looks like a sidewalk from one end to the other. Loren
