Every couple of years some guy stops at the house selling T bones and rib eye steaks. He has a chest freezer the the back of his truck. Always has only a couple of packages of steaks left and will give me a good deal so he can quit for the day. Always tell him we raise and butcher our own beef. Says it's not healthy to eat non inspected meat. I've been eating non inspected meat all my life and it ain't killed me yet. Then he say it's against the law to sell it. We're not selling it, we're butchering it for our own use. Told him to leave before I call the sheriff. He finally got the idea that I didn't want to buy any of his meat. Lord only knows what kind of meat he's selling

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
