Lyle"s 966 carries logs perpendicular to the tractor. Unless you only want short logs, impossible on my mountain, they have to be in line with the tractor. Nice to carry them dirt-free.
BTW, when I was shopping I never found a big old loader with functioning brakes. Inexpensive to rebuild them. All four wheels, which I found a major improvement over farm tractors. I road her frontwards. Manual says she"ll do 23 mph, but not with me driving. Somebody"s gonna get hurt if she gets away from you.
