Hi Been reading your posts about the cars. There are some people that have done nothing around on these forums. They think this is there place in life, to lip other people, They would not dare do it to a real face, because they might need dental work after!. I have no problem with what you say. i'm only 40 and done a fair bit of stuff and I'm probably way younger than you. It annoys me here when I Write about things I come across in my work, in answer to guys questions.
These guys come on and say I have no clue. Well that was my experience in the last 15 years of X machine, not 1972 when it was new and perfect. Get over it there are problems with them at high hours, or things guys found out about maintenance that's not in a dealer shop or in a book.
I have found good stuff around in places like you have. I asked a guy for headlights for a tractor the other day. He emailed the pictures and they are attached to a rarer Perkins Engined Fordson. looks like it's coming home, only problem now is I still need spare headlights for the original one I have! L.O.L Just ignore your buddy there and keep posting. Chances are a moderator will make him vanish if he keeps it up. Good luck with the cars and please keep us updated. Regards Robert
