Old, I did not ask for cheap either. I asked for decent quality at a fair price. But somehow our trade policy allowed our competitors to offer junk at a price so good that we put our own American companies out of business. Now we are stuck with junk. Try to buy a decent trailer tire. Too late, we learned that the end game is not so wonderful. Again, they pay no taxes, so we get to pick up the tab for all those lost American jobs. Extra taxes probably make up for what we saved on junk.
