Kinda funny but was at a weekly consignment auction the other day. Wife was bidding on something that my 6 year old grand daughter (she was there) really thought we needed to buy. This one guy kept bidding it higher. Well he finally backed off and my wife got it. My wife and daughter were all approached by different people who were really angry at the guy who bid it up. They are regulars and know my grand daughter who talks with them and is a very happy little girl. They thought when she was telling grandma when it was her turn to bid "please grandma". What the heck, it's an auction, not a charity event. We did get the item but people were angry that we had to bid so high.
