Ten years ago we bought my mother in law an emergency phone dialing system. It came with a necklace for her to wear incase she would fall and all she has to do is push the button on the necklace and it will call up to 6 different numbers.
Well her grandson came to visit with his two young boys, the youngest being 2-1/2. As the adults went outside the two boys were still in the house. The adults heard sirens and saw the ambulance coming down the road, as they watched the ambulance it turned in the mother-in-law's driveway. She didn't know what was going on. Didn't take long but they figured out the 2 /12 year old great grandson had to be inquisitive and push Grandma's buttons.
After it was all said and done the EMT's said they would rather take 100 calls like this to one serious call.
Grandma still had to sign a waiver saying she was ok.
At least we know her Emergency Dialing System we got from Radio Shack works.
