I just bought a 2003 case 40xt and wanted to do my own service to know its done right.
This loader is for on the farm work- ie small beef farm/snow removal/ minor dirt work/ cut wood and the like.
I live south of Duluth Mn by an hour and have seen 30 below many times. Wish I could afford a heated shop but cant right now.
I want to the best oil money can buy so do I go with sythetic---Amsoil or mobil 1 or Dino Oil?
I of course will plug it in and stick a magnetic heater on the hydo resivor when its cold but want to make sure it has the best lubrication when i fire it up to feed a round bale or clear up some snow.
I can't seem to find the same answer. I stopped at two dealers one said yes synthetic the other said no dino oil.
